We are seeking a Vendor Management Specialist to join our team on a day/mid shift, fully remote basis. As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining relationships with our vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Manage and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select potential vendors. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and terms. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns that arise. Continuously evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation. Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate smooth and efficient operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors. Stay up-to-date with market trends and changes in the industry to inform vendor selection and management strategies. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Train and support team members on vendor management processes and procedures. Resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise with vendors. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with vendors. Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment. Participate in vendor audits and assessments.
