Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced human resources professional to join the team as aHuman Resources Manager 3. This remote role as an HR Manager will provide generalist support for our healthcare team in SC and GA. This role will be supporting 6 accounts in Augusta, Waycross and Savannah, GA; Colleton, Summerville, and Myrtle Beach, SC. Responsible for HR unit training, onboarding, and employee engagement.

This role will ensure adherence to all Sodexo policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and retention. Key responsibilities include employee relations, conducting investigations and maintaining documentation, performance and evaluations. Position focuses on our hourly workforce of 300+ and may or may not include union accounts. The ideal candidate will be an experienced human resources professional with a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

What You'll Do
  • Implement and manage Sodexos HR policies and procedures in alignment with hospital standards and contractual obligations.
  • Educate managers and employees on policies and procedures and assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
  • Handle human resource functions. May include payroll, benefits, training, employee relations, recruiting, safety, etc.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and workforce planning as well as support employee development initiatives and career progression opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports on workforce metrics.
  • Facilitate communication between hospital leadership and staff on HR matters.
  • Understanding of all contract rules/policies and management of arbitration. Involvement of contract negotiations.

What You Bring
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Teams) and Smartsheet
  • An extensive background in human resources management
  • Understand and respect sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience managing HR/Administrative support team members.
  • Due diligence for new business initiatives and experience with determining the appropriate HR plans, programs, process, and tools (including compensation, benefits, leadership, staffing, belonging & inclusion) based on financial and legal exposure.
  • Knowledge of and oversight of all Federal, State and Local laws regarding human resources.
  • Detail- orientation, flexibility, and have the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
