Siemens Government Technologies is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization seeking a self-driven individual for the role of Services Program Manager. The SPgM will lead a services program, manage dependencies between projects, and ensure the delivery of capabilities that drive customer value realization and business outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the program to achieve the program vision/strategy and to realize business outcomes and communicate strategic value of the program
  • Together with Sales Account Management and Engagement Management, set and align stakeholder expectations
  • Actively build business relationships with stakeholders
  • Together with Services Management and other Program Managers, build, inspire, motivate, and develop an effective team
  • Guide the customer through the process of value identification and planning
  • Oversee the delivery to realize value from Digital Enterprise Solutions and guide the customer through adoption
  • Identify and create additional customer value opportunities within and beyond the ongoing program
  • Work with Sales and Services Management to initiate, review and agree to the appropriate program governance model with the customer and execute working closely with the customer
  • Define and agree on the program roles and responsibilities with the customer
  • Conduct stakeholder management through systematic identification, analysis and planning of actions to negotiate with and influence stakeholders
  • Manage all contracts in the program and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities and contractual obligations with respect to the entire program
  • Manage the dependencies and interfaces between projects, establish and publish clear priorities among projects and program activities and coordinate the projects effectively
  • Proactively monitor the program's overall progress, resolving issues and initiate corrective and preventive actions as appropriate
  • Manage and resolve issues with all necessary internal and external partners, initiate additional activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
  • Enforce change management at the project level to ensure the dependencies of the change are reflected and understood on the program level
  • Agree to targets with the program staff and delegate defined responsibilities and authority
  • Actively seek and provide feedback from program and project team members, managers, and customers
  • Work with Services Management and Procurement Management to manage business partners and subcontractors
  • Ensure the projects in the program deliver to the approved budget and agreed upon bid margin
  • Work with Services administration to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition for the entire program
  • Identifies and minimizes non-conformance costs across the program

Skills

  • Minimum of eight (8) years in a program or project leadership position
  • Experience leading the successful deployments of digital systems and/or automation hardware within DoD environments and equipment assets
  • Working knowledge of the administrative functions of the Services business including project setup, contract structure, progress reporting, revenue recognition and billing
  • Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Leadership skills and proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including Services delivery and Project Management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of company and government executives
  • Must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S DOD Government Security Clearance
  • United States Citizen with no dual citizenship, ties to another country, foreign passports or visas
  • Experience in implementing or strong familiarity with Industrial Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 solutions and products is desired

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or equivalent years of experience in the Digital Industry or related field.
