đź’Ľ Position Overview

We’re seeking a Health IT Recruiter with hands-on experience in the EHR ecosystem—ideal for someone transitioning from Oracle Health (Cerner) or a related healthcare technology organization.
This is a 100% remote position, but we prefer candidates located in the Kansas City area to maintain proximity to the Oracle Health talent community and healthcare IT network.
As a member of our internal recruiting team, you’ll identify, attract, and place professionals in functional, technical, and clinical IT roles nationwide. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where performance drives opportunity—and your earning potential is truly uncapped.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and recruit candidates for EHR, Health IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Modernization programs.
  • Build strong pipelines for VisTA, Oracle Health (Cerner), and Epic roles across technical and functional domains.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviews, salary negotiation, and offer coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers, delivery leads, and proposal teams to meet staffing goals.
  • Maintain and update candidate data in ATS; track recruiting metrics weekly.
  • Cultivate networks within the Oracle Health / Cerner alumni community and Midwest health systems.
  • Represent Emerging Tech’s mission and culture to candidates and partners.

🎯 Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in Health IT, EHR implementation, or federal contracting.
  • Proven success placing candidates in Cerner (Oracle Health), Epic, or VisTA environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology roles—both functional and technical.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, ClearanceJobs, etc.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and closing skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contracting requirements.

Preferred

  • Previous employment or recruiting experience with Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic Systems, or a health system IT department.
  • Knowledge of VA EHRM, DoD MHS GENESIS, or other federal healthcare programs.
  • Understanding of labor category mapping, proposal recruiting, and clearance processing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

Component Details
Base Salary $55,000 – $70,000 (DOE)
Commission $1,500 – $3,000 per successful placement (uncapped)
On-Target Earnings (OTE) $100K – $150K annually (top performers exceed $150K)
Bonuses Quarterly and annual bonuses for high-volume or cleared placements
Benefits Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, remote stipend

Example: 4 placements per month Ă— $2,000 = $96,000 commission + $60,000 base = $156,000 annual total compensation.
