**Job Overview:**

The Wilson County Health Department seeks a skilled Public Health Nurse Specialist to coordinate and manage the Managed Care Program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Community Care Physician Network (CCPN) and health department assigned Managed Care processing assistant for all aspects of Managed Care Services.
  • Interviews, counsels, and treats clients in all clinical areas within the Health Department.
  • Work with Processing Assistants assigned to manage care programs to ensure there are no questions from patients assigned to Wilson County Health Department.
