Job Overview

The Lead EHR Technician will serve as a subject matter expert in the collection, assessment, and processing of patient documentation in medical records. This critical role will provide valuable insights into the application of knowledge to process, store, retrieve, review, assess, and process health-related information in both paper and electronic formats. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in the collection, assessment, and processing of patient documentation in medical records
  • Offer insights into the application of knowledge to process, store, retrieve, review, assess, and process health-related information
  • Act as a resource for patient care teams and leadership to improve medical record documentation
  • Contribute to the assessment of quality standards for electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) processing
  • Identify and report deficiencies to the appropriate leadership
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and compliant medical record practices
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable Federal, State, and Accreditation guidelines and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements
