We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Nursing Instructor specializing in Maternity and Pediatrics. This is a remote/online teaching position-ideal for an educator who thrives in a virtual environment while maintaining high levels of student engagement.You'll have the opportunity to guide Practical Nursing students through essential concepts in maternal-child health, supporting them in mastering clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the skills needed to pass the NCLEX-PN exam.Applicants must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in IllinoisYour RoleAs a Part-Time Nursing Instructor specializing in Maternity and Pediatrics, you will deliver engaging, student-centered online instruction that prepares Practical Nursing students to meet curriculum requirements, master maternal-child health concepts, and excel in both clinical judgment and NCLEX-PN readiness. You will create an inclusive virtual classroom environment that fosters active participation, provide individualized academic support and targeted remediation, and collaborate closely with fellow faculty to ensure alignment with program goals and best practices.Key Responsibilities Instruction & Engagement: Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and interactive online lessons in Maternity and Pediatrics. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with recent clinical practice experience and/or teaching experience. Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Illinois. Prior teaching experience preferred, particularly in an online/remote environment. A passion for education and the ability to connect with a diverse group of students.
