across business and engineering teams to solve our toughest problems</li><li>Execute a strategic software development plan for IaaS, encompassing virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, Kubevirt, OpenStack, AWS,and Azure.</li><li>Prioritize security, optimization for performance and efficiency across the entire development lifecycle.</li><li>Own accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions</li><li>Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams</li><li>Fulfill on-call responsibilities and offer operational support</li></ul><br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>10+ years of PaaS and IaaS software development experience.</li><li>5+ years specializing in system design and implementation.</li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.</li><li>4+ years working with open-source frameworks.</li><li>1+ years of leadership experience leading cross functional technical teams.</li><li>Strong software engineering and system architecture background.</li><li>Experience with REST APIs, OpenStack APIs, Kubernetes (K8s) APIs, microservices, and containers.</li><li>Experience with virtual machine provisioning frameworks utilizing Kubernetes operators such as Kubevirt or Crossplane.</li><li>Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.</li><li>Experience of building best-in-class customer facing experiences</li><li>Proficient in K8s and OpenStack with hands-on experience in cluster provisioning and management.</li><li>Experience in high performance and highly reliable block and object storage systems</li><li>Practical knowledge and experience in Linux and Windows operating systems, internals, and command-line utilities</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and Rancher</li><li>Familiarity with technologies such as ArgoCD, Cilium, Kubebuilder, and Kubevirt</li><li>Expertise in automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Cloud Init, Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform) for streamlined infrastructure provisioning</li><li>Professional experience in software development using modern programming languages like Go (preferred) or Python, Typescript, Java</li><li>Solid foundations in software engineering, experience in system design, implementation best practices, and testing methodologies</li><li>Knowledgeable in security best practices for secure configurations and data protection</li><li>Proven in optimizing CI/CD for efficient Infra SW services deployment and configuration using GitOps and ArgoCD</li><li>Familiarity with security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth</li><li>In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk mitigation</li><li>Familiarity with Crossplane and/or Kubevirt for virtual machine provisioning is highly desired</li><li>Demonstrated ability to design and implement resilient,
