JLL is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services, and they are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join their Public Institutions Advisory group. This role supports sales enablement by coordinating the proposal development process for public agencies and education institutions, collaborating with various teams to create compelling proposals.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and manage the complete proposal development process, from reviewing RFP/RFQ documentation to final submission.
  • Develop and manage proposal schedules, including milestones, task assignments, and review deadlines with technical leadership.
  • Leverage existing proposal content and AI to create client-focused first drafts that address RFP requirements.
  • Write, edit, and proofread persuasive proposal sections, ensuring content is compliant, consistent, accurate, and clear.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leads to gather information and develop bespoke content.
  • Work closely with graphic designers to create visually appealing layouts, charts, and diagrams that align with brand guidelines and enhance the proposal's message.
  • Participate in the go/no-go evaluation process by assessing resources and outlining pursuit schedules.
  • Assist in crafting competitive analyses and developing winning strategies to enhance project award likelihood.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and graphics.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on final proposals to ensure they are error-free and meet all requirements before submission.

Skills

  • Proven ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections in response to Government and Education sector solicitations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities with various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator; InDesign expertise is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or other proposal management tools.
  • AI fluency.
  • Ability to analyze and distill complex information into clear, concise materials.
  • Experience with or openness to change management practices.
  • Leadership potential, previous leadership experience, and conflict resolution skills.
