Your Role:

  • The intern will assist the NASA HQ Space Technology Mission Directorate's Resource Management Office.
  • Responsibilities include supporting multiple STMD programs, focusing on meeting NASA Program Plan Budget and Execution requirements.  
  • Tasks involve SMART data management, analysis, action tracking, and synthesizing data for the PPBE process.  
  • Develop and recommend standardizations for data management and visualization using SharePoint and other tools.  
  • Create dashboards utilizing BOBJ-AO/SMART data and propose solutions for operational manifest creation.  
  • Interface with Program Executives, Principal Technologists, Program Managers, and Resource Analysts.  
  • Opportunity to shadow and learn from various NASA employees to understand the federal budget process.

About You:

  • Open to undergraduate students from freshman to senior year.  
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.  
  • Preferred majors include Business, Management, Marketing, Computer Science, and related fields.  
  • Skills in data management, and financial analysis, and familiarity with SharePoint and data visualization tools are beneficial.

Training & Development:

Interns will gain hands-on experience in NASA-related research and operations. Opportunities to learn from experienced NASA employees and understand the federal government budget process.
