Summary

In this role, you will collaborate with the Planning functional team, Engineering, and key stakeholders to revolutionize existing processes for Datacenter Procurement in support of Microsoft's cloud business growth. As part of one of the largest cloud networks globally, comprising over 160 Datacenters and millions of servers, your contributions will be instrumental in driving impactful change within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical solutions to address complex challenges by coordinating cross-team efforts and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
  • Develop vision and strategy for intricate solution areas, translating opportunities into business requirements.
  • Prioritize problem areas and guide teams in identifying experiences that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the development of requirements for Demand Planning solutions based on industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to design Planning solutions meeting business needs.
  • Oversee Change Management activities and User Acceptance Testing for Planning Solutions.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of experience in the same fields.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in relevant fields OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience in relevant fields.
  • 4+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, and/or Supply Planning processes.
  • Recent experience in SAP IBP deployment and implementation within a large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship management ability.
  • Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal collaboration skill, clear and succinct delivery.
  • Strong project management/process improvement skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve issues; creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
  • Experience working in construction/capital projects and integration of supply chain activities into Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
