Our high-performance team is responsible for the merchandising, assortment, pricing and shelving of our products. We use our extensive understanding of consumers, product categories and markets to help grow our retail customers' businesses, drive profits and increase our consumer base

Sales Analyst

Potential Work Locations: Oakland, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Durham, NC; Mason, OH (Cincinnati Area)

This role provides analytical direction by helping to identify business opportunities, gaps and key learnings. This role works with both internal stakeholders and field sales teams to drive assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving objectives, ultimately helping to grow retailers' key product categories.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Engage our People as Owners

  • Build effective working relationships with internal business partners and field sales stakeholders to drive the business

  • Drive inclusion and diversity of experience, gender, ethnicity and thought in the organization

Develop Reporting Insights to Drive the Business

  • Gather data across a wide variety of platforms as needed.

  • Develop key reports to monitor business performance and key trends.

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities and proactively communicate with team.

Customer Account Support

  • Manage projects assigned to category/brand to help identify opportunities to drive the business.

  • Support and organize sales input process to business plan release for assigned Category/Brand.

  • Support sales representative on Business Unit innovation projects

  • Supports tools, processes and resources to support the Customer organization.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve current processes.

What we look for:

Minimum Qualifications

Years and Type of Experience

  • 0 -2 years of CPG experience or equivalent professional experience; analytical experience required

Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to learn and apply understanding of Clorox processes, policies and systems

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Industry/external knowledge in area of expertise

Education level/Degree

  • BS/BA Degree or MBA/Masters Degree

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $72,400 - $132,500

–Zone B: $66,400 - $121,500

–Zone C: $60,300 - $110,400
