The Default Title Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the servicing default title team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure efficient and comprehensive resolution of complex title issues. Develop and implement procedures that enhance operational effectiveness and compliance across title-related functions. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The approved Target Pay range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000.

**What you'll do:**

+ Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws; including hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

+ Manage and direct the daily operations of the title process, providing guidance and direction in daily workflow and volume to ensure timely resolution of non-default and default related title issues.

+ Communicate to the group the work goals, expectations, and any policy and/or process changes.

+ Develop and implement policies, procedures and process around the actions required to cure title defects within servicing.

+ Responsible for departmental initiatives through project work related to reporting, change management, compliance, quality assurance/quality control, and vendor/third-party communications.

+ Oversight responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring adherence to regulatory and investor guidelines and managing workflow andcompliance timelines.

+ Establish a clear escalation process for title curative issues.

+ Support senior specialists and supervisor(s) in resolving escalated matters.

+ Determine solutions for irregularities and establish the process for resolution.

+ Oversee the management of reports for assigned book(s) of business; maintain and review reports; negotiate resolution with title, collateral, CCM and attorneys as needed.

+ Collaborate with foreclosure, attorneys, vendors and internal departments for resolution of outstanding title issues.

+ Attend internal and external business partner/vendor meetings and provide feedback on behalf of Default Title department.

+ Ensure accurate and timely communication of all updates, details, etc. to all parties involved in transaction.

+ Assist leadership in identifying resources required to resolve any title related issues.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert on title-related matters within servicing.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**What you'll need:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

+ Five plus (5+) years of Non-Foreclosure/Foreclosure/REO title curative experience.

+ One plus years in a supervisory role.

+ Extensive Non-Foreclosure/Foreclosure/REO title curative knowledge.

+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.).

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent client service skills.
