Overview of the Role

What You'll do at C.A. Fortune

  • Cross-functional, collaborative engagement with Leadership, Account Managers and Sales Support through the employee lifecycle
  • Facilitate a transparent collaborative partnership with clients & internal cross-functional team members
  • Responsible for the implementation of CAF selling techniques
  • Coordinate with clients to develop and implement any applicable specific brand training
  • Participate in regular market interaction with team to understand the situation "on the ground" and provide active guidance and ongoing training, as necessary
  • Ensure team is trained on appropriate tools and technology, and that those tools and technology are being put to proper use.
  • Utilize shared appointment calendar
  • Provide Meeting Recaps – 24hr post meeting, next business day
  • Regular, consistent client communication to manage business
  • Proactive communication
  • Close of business acknowledgement with client/buyer
  • 24-hour response towards resolution
  • Perform Monthly comps/clubs walks in assigned Costco regions
  • Purchase competitive samples/Recap to team as needed
  • Communicate with leadership on a regular basis to help problem solve and ensure best practices are being shared
  • Provide direction to clients on the best way to package information that allows for the CAF team to understand and leverage the proper resources to execute respective responsibilities
  • Act as the conduit of communication for all significant information flow with supervisors and the client teams, including regular communication with the client Director or Retail

What You Should Bring to the Table

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales function required; Experience in a sales leadership position
  • A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinker; can turn self-developed strategies/efficient processes into execution
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience selling product direct to Costco and across multiple regions and categories throughout the club
  • Experience working with and selling to Costco 
  • Experience building and managing Costco programs
  • Advanced communications skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise manner and establish rapport quickly 
  • Bachelor's degree and other relevant certifications preferred
