Apple is seeking a skilled and passionate Networking Engineer to join the Core Networking team. This role focuses on designing and developing the next generation of networking technologies for Apple’s diverse product ecosystem, including macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing operating system networking components, APIs, protocols, and interfaces while navigating a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the design and optimization of networking components across Apple’s platforms.

Develop and enhance system-level networking software using industry best practices.

Balance trade-offs between performance, efficiency, usability, and security to achieve optimal results.

Engage in API development, protocol design, and interface enhancement.

Utilize troubleshooting tools (e.g., packet sniffers, protocol analyzers) to diagnose and resolve networking issues.

Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure seamless integration of networking technologies.
