If you are interested in either location please apply to both** <br><br>JOB SUMMARY<p style="margin: 0; text-align: left;">Employees in this position perform a variety of semi-skilled highway maintenance tasks to assist in providing the county with safe roadways. </p><p style="margin: 0; text-align: left;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0; text-align: left;">Employees in this position may be required to perform portions or all of the duties normally falling within the current classification depending on current workload and staffing requirements.  . Employees may promote to a Utility I after they have received a Class A CDL with Tanker and Manual Transmission Endorsement. Other duties may be assigned as required.</p><p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</u></strong></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Operates a variety of power equipment/vehicles in making minor repairs to roadways, shoulders, and related structures such as bridges and guardrails.  This equipment includes:</li></ol><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Pickups</li><li>Water Pumps</li><li>Misc. Hand Tools</li><li>Implements inc.
