Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our research and development activities. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting experiments and research projects under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
  • Perform routine laboratory procedures, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and FDA regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) during all laboratory activities.
  • Support quality control measures by conducting tests and ensuring that all materials meet required specifications.
  • Utilize laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and animal physiology.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and organization within the lab environment.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of GLP and FDA regulations relevant to laboratory settings.
  • Familiarity with animal physiology and veterinary terminology is preferred.
  • Experience in quality control processes within an industrial or clinical laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in microbiology techniques and analysis skills related to scientific research.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to perform data collection accurately and efficiently for research & development purposes.
  • Solid math skills for calculations related to experiments and data analysis.
