Physician (Telemedicine) -  Job Description 

We are looking for committed, patient-centric physicians with multiple state licenses to join our team. This role offers the chance to deliver modern, high-quality medical care without the limitations of a conventional practice. Despite the primarily virtual nature of our services, there may be opportunities for in-person hybrid engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding virtual care, including patient evaluation, medical history analysis, and the administration of suitable medical treatment.
  • Offer empathetic, patient-oriented care, fostering strong doctor-patient relationships.
  • Request and analyze laboratory tests to make informed treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their usage, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction (without prescribing other controlled substances).
  • Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure thorough patient care.
  • Accurately document medical interactions to maintain continuity of care.
  • Keep abreast of medical advancements, telehealth innovations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Active medical license in at least three states, ideally five, with readiness to acquire additional state licenses (support and cost coverage provided).
  • Crucial to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more specific states such as CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.
  • Experience in high-volume telehealth or in-person patient treatment settings.
  • Ability to work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) across four days, with scheduling done a week in advance.
  • Strong communication abilities and dedication to medical excellence.
  • Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training available).
  • Passion for improving healthcare access and creating meaningful change.
  • At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if necessary.
