We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations accurately
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems
  • Handle low voltage and high voltage wiring safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion
  • Perform renovations by upgrading existing electrical systems as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrician in both residential and commercial settings
  • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems
  • Experience with frame carpentry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, and techniques
