The person in this position will work in the Sawmill or Planer and will be asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips off lower mill floors, and assist with dust mitigation. This is a full time position with cross training lead-ins to operate some of the advanced production equipment in the facility.<br><br><ul><li>Starting work schedule Tuesday-Friday, Day Shift (300 AM to 130 PM, flexible as needed, must be willing to also work swing shift). </li><li>Wage starts at $22.66 per hour. ($47,132 per year before any overtime and production bonuses). Production Bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site's target goals. Also includes a $1500 hiring bonus! <br><br><br></li></ul>Entry Level - Operator 1, is just the first step towards a long list of exciting and diverse job opportunities available at Hampton Lumber. As you are trained on different mill production jobs to assist with rotations, you will gain the job experience to become proficient on advanced positions with wage increase possibilities.
