BookNook partners with school districts to support students in math and reading tutoring sessions that pair the same tutor and student(s) at the same time across multiple days within the same week, from week to week, for a number of weeks. Tutors at BookNook enjoy sessions with provided lesson content, a virtual whiteboard, and an active virtual tutor community.</p><p><em>Tutoring sessions for the fall are beginning soon, apply today! </em></p><p><strong>To align with current tutoring requests, interested math tutors are asked to apply with BookNook if their availability often includes at least one hour each weekday within 4 and 7 pm ET. </strong>(with the potential to claim sessions outside of this time frame to tutor as well)</p><h3>Position Specifics</h3><ul> <li>Subject: Math tutoring with provided lesson content</li> <li>Position Type: 1099-eligible independent contractor</li> <li>Tutoring Sessions: Follow the standard school year, September to May </li> <li>Pay Rate: $20 per hour ($10 per 30-minute session)</li> <li>Schedule: Tutors may claim and tutor up to 30 hours per week (varies).
