FULL-TIME HALL PORTER

KINGSMILLS HOTEL

The full time position will be 39-40 hours per week, 5 days from 7, generally 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. Weekend work is required on a shift rota basis.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Concierge Team here at Kingsmills Hotel. We are, privately owned, which means you are known as a person and not just by a number. We do try to ensure you get a long weekend off on a rota basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Handling of Luggage from arrival, delivering to guest rooms and collection of luggage on departure also, if required. Storing of Luggage.

· Delivery of amenities to guest bedrooms.

. Assisting with set-up of Meeting Rooms , breaking them down and delivering tea/coffee, lunch to the delegates.

. Keeping Hotel Lounge areas clean and tidy.

. Going to the Post Office with parcels.

. On hand to give guests local information and knowledge of the area. Helping them with booking trips.

· Completing Online Training Modules to help with your development and knowledge.

  • Must have a driving license
  • Previous experience in similar role or experience delivering high levels of service.

  • Previous experience of exceptional guest service in a fast pace environment
  • Friendly, courteous and helpful, with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
