Job Title: Remote Paralegal (Lemon Law Preferred)

Location: US, 100% Remote

Type: Full-Time

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Role

As a Paralegal with our team, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our attorneys by drafting key documents, managing schedules, and coordinating critical case activities. Your ability to craft compelling demands and contribute to successful negotiations will be key in achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, demand letters, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide direct support to attorneys handling Lemon Law and other consumer protection cases.
  • Conduct legal research using resources like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and reminders for the legal team.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings while keeping all parties informed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy in all legal documentation.
  • Conduct initial client interviews to gather pertinent case details.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a paralegal in Lemon Law or other litigation fields is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in drafting demand letters and supporting negotiation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and case management.
  • Proficiency in Clio, Microsoft Word, Excel, and G-Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex caseloads.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
