We are open to applications from highly experienced Tekla Precast Concrete Detailers interested in joining our diverse team of dedicated and motivated professionals here in our main office in Naperville, IL. This position requires strong skills in Trimble's Tekla Structures software. Ideal candidates must be efficient and detailed-oriented and must be organized self-starters who need little supervision in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Use Tekla Structures to produce complete sets of precast concrete BIM details based on client specifications and requirements.

  • Use our company's standard details, code requirements, standard BIM practices, and previous experience to produce precast concrete BIM details in coordination with the Detailing Department Manager, Project Lead Engineers, and other Tekla Detailers.

  • Produce BIM details accurately, on time, and on budget.


Qualifications:

  • Must have strong skills in Tekla Structures.

  • Must have 2+ years of work experience producing complete sets of precast concrete BIM details using Tekla Structures.

  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.

  • A degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is a plus.

  • Experience with C# coding is a big plus.

  • Experience reading blueprints is a plus.

  • Experience with drafting in AutoCAD is a plus.

  • Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel is a plus.

  • Experience with advanced functions in Bluebeam and/or Adobe is a plus.
