ABC 7 Chicago’s #1 news is seeking an experienced newsroom leader to produce its top-rated 6:00 pm newscast and its 6:30 pm streaming newscast.Responsibilities:Craft a fast-paced, visually compelling show and communicate with reporters about the focus and format of their stories.Report directly to the Executive Producer and be responsible for creating graphics and editing videos at their desktop.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 5+ years of newscast producing experience in a medium to large market.Strong news judgment and proactive approach to covering breaking news.Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.Consistent use of digital media and user-generated content in all aspects of newscast creation, from story selection to on-air presentation.Required Education:Bachelor’s degree required.Additional Information:This role is considered on-site, meaning the employee will work from a company-designated location on an ongoing basis.#JConference2025The hiring range for this position in Chicago, IL is $113,800 to $152,500 per year. The actual offer will consider internal equity, geographic region, candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
