Key Responsibilities for the Float MRI / CT Technologist Role

This position is eligible for a full-time sign-on bonus and offers additional float differential pay. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager of Clinical Operations and work across multiple facilities in the South Denver Area.

The Imaging Centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state-of-the-art equipment. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

  • Perform MRI and CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
  • Escort patients to a treatment room and assist with dressings as necessary.
  • Complete all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
  • Explain MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Conduct quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report malfunctions to the site manager.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere by focusing on customer service and using courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including administering CPR.
  • Assist patients with positioning on the exam table and prevent falls.
