<strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>The Platform Innovation Sales team is responsible for scaling our Commerce Platform’s nascent bets in restaurant technology. This team partners with our Product, Strategy & Operations, and Account Management teams to build our GTM strategy and execute on ambitious goals for DoorDash’s latest first party technologies.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>This role is a critical hire who will help drive the adoption and growth of new solutions with our existing and new restaurant partners. As Director of Platform Innovation Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team of front line leaders, driving the sales performance that is the main input to our new product adoption goals. You will do this through hiring, developing, and improving core productivity and strategic efforts, building an inclusive and motivating work environment, and partnering with our product and S&O teams to find new and creative ways to drive adoption. This position will report to the Director, Platform Account Development and will lead team members across the US. This role is flexible on its location and will require frequent travel to support our in-market sales reps.<br><br><strong>You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…<br><br></strong><ul><li>Find and lead 0 to 1 opportunities. We are constantly enhancing existing products and introducing new products to our suite of Platform services. You have built and executed pipeline strategies. You know how to coach front line leaders and lean on your customer obsession to regularly meet with prospects, both to understand and resolve their pain points at an individual level and to create system-wide solutions.</li><li>Work across many cross-functional partners, helping to shape GTM motion. This will include Sales Operations for goals and tracking, Finance for deals, S&O for team strategy, goal accountability and product feedback to name a few. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.<br><br>In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission.
