Job Title: CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM Consultant

TalentFish is casting a line for a CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM Consultant! This is a contract opportunity with an expected duration of 3+ months depending on project needs.

Overview

  • As a CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM Consultant, you will serve as subject matter expert (SME) for CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM (LogScale) during the planning and early implementation stages.
  • This is a client-facing role where you will perform as a trusted consultant, providing guidance, design recommendations, and hands-on expertise for deploying and operationalizing the Next-Gen SIEM module.
  • This role will be supporting a client organization through planning, integration, and initial configuration of the platform.
What You Will Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
  • Strong experience with CrowdStrike Falcon platform, with specific expertise in Falcon LogScale/ Next-Gen SIEM.
  • Background in SIEM design, implementation, and integration, preferably across multiple platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elastic, Sentinel).
  • Hands-on knowledge of log ingestion, parsing, normalization, and correlation rule creation.
  • Familiarity with XDR/EDR telemetry and integration of Falcon with broader environments (cloud, network, identity, and security tools).
  • Experience working in professional services or consulting engagements with enterprise clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work directly with client stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications in CrowdStrike (Falcon Administrator, Falcon LogScale, or related), SIEM or security operations certifications (Splunk Certified, GIAC, CISSP, etc.).
What You Will Do (Skills Used in This Position)

Client-Facing Workshops & Planning
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define log sources, use cases, compliance drivers, and success metrics.
  • Conduct SIEM readiness assessments, evaluating current security tooling, data flows, and SOC maturity.
  • Lead architecture and design sessions to establish ingestion strategy, data retention policies, scalability considerations, and security use case coverage.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions on Falcon LogScale search, dashboards, alerting, and reporting to enable the client's team.
Technical Implementation & Delivery
  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand current environment and project objectives.
  • Lead or support the planning phase of Falcon Next-Gen SIEM implementation, including architecture, design, and deployment roadmap.
  • Provide hands-on configuration of Falcon LogScale for data ingestion, parsing, and normalization.
  • Develop and tune correlation rules, detections, and dashboards to meet client requirements.
  • Integrate Falcon Next-Gen SIEM with other security and IT systems (EDR, firewalls, cloud services, identity providers, etc.).
  • Deliver documentation and recommendations for ongoing SIEM operations and optimization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, highlighting industry best practices and helping the client avoid common pitfalls in SIEM deployments.


Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected hourly rate for this position is $65 - $75 per hour W2, depending on experience and qualifications. This role qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
