<p>The City and Borough of Yakutat, Alaska is accepting resumes for the Borough Manager Position. The Borough population is 660, with an annual budget exceeding $4.0M including Borough Enterprise Funds. The Borough has 17 full time employees that provide Police, DMV, Water and Sewer, Landfill, Roads, Public Works, Facility Maintenance, Boat Harbor and Planning.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities: The Borough Manger is responsible for proper administration of all Borough affairs, including finance and personnel. Applicants are required to have five years documented experience in local government, and strong financial background experience with grants and legislative matters. A degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or closely related field is preferred. The Borough Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the entire Borough. The Borough Manager also serves as the Human Resource Manager responsible for all hiring. Applicants must authorize and “pass” background checks and drug tests.
