This role requires compliance with facility menus, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, in addition to HCSG policies to consistently deliver outstanding dining services.</p><ul><li>Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.</li><li>Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as necessary.</li><li>Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators to relay important directives.</li><li>Utilize protective gear, ensure safe practices in handling cleaning solutions, and promptly report equipment needs or malfunctions.</li><li>Comply with infection control, universal precautions, and handwashing protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.</li><li>Exhibit consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.</li><li>Represent HCSG in a positive manner through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.</li><li>Perform any other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification, with an Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, including food service or restaurant management coursework.</li><li>Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision is preferred.</li><li>Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment.</li><li>Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days of employment.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.</li><li>Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.</li><li>Physical ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.</li><li>Able to work in environments with food and cleaning products.</li><li>Basic computer skills to maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.</li><li>May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.</li><li>Residency within the service area is required.</li></ul><p><b>Ready to Join Us?</b></p><p>If you're seeking a role where you can lead with enthusiasm, implement positive changes, and be part of a supporting team, apply now and start making a difference at HCSG!</p><p><i>Job titles related to this position include Dining Services Supervisor, Dining Services Manager, Dietary Manager, Nutrition Manager, Nutrition Supervisor, Food Service Director, Diet Tech, and Diet Technician.</i></p><p><b>EEO Statement:</b> HCSG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
