Full Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loader/Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials and products, while maintaining a safe work area.
Position Details:
- 8am – 5pm, sometimes earlier arrival and sometimes later arrival, depends on the day.
- Monday – Friday, OT and weekends as needed
- 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts (must be available when needed)
- Direct hire
- Requires the loader to load items by hand, as well as secure cargo to a container by hand.

- Load household goods and vehicles into ocean containers with care and efficiency.
- Secure cargo safely within containers using proper techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Unload items from shipping containers and neatly arrange them on pallets for storage or shipment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, discrepancies, or missing items.
- Organize goods in the warehouse by item number, SKU, or other classification systems.
- Guide truck drivers in positioning their vehicles at docks for safe and effective loading/unloading.
- Build pallets and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Transport goods to designated storage locations in a neat and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
- Work closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Be available to work at different warehouse sites when required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience (1+ year preferred).
- Strong hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Physically fit and able to handle lifting, moving, and standing for long periods.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexible schedule with availability for weekends and overtime when needed.
- Capable of keeping up in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel between warehouse locations as needed.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Able to regularly lift and move objects up to 80lbs.
- Stamina for repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long durations.
- Adaptable to fast-changing workloads and priorities.
- Comfortable working in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
- Capable of understanding verbal cues and instructions in a noisy environment.
- Good vision and spatial awareness to safely handle equipment and navigate the warehouse.
- Tolerance for exposure to loud noises and vibrations.
- Able to clearly communicate and report any safety issues.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, and on uneven surfaces.
- Manual dexterity to handle goods and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
