General Summary:

Warehouse Associates within our warehouse distribution team are responsible for order fulfillment, including receipt of products into our distribution facility, storage of product, receiving orders, picking and packing orders, shipping orders, and provide customer service support internally & externally. A Warehouse Associate I may work within our parts or units areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle counts, inventory audit, etc.
  • Utilizes RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities
  • Operates forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently for the purpose of accurate shipping, processing and receiving, which includes but is not limited to unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, relocating and stacking product
  • Performs loading & unloading duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
  • Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. All variances and damages must be documented and reported to Supervisor
  • Efficiently moves product from picking bin locations to staging and/or loading areas
  • Responsible for packing and crating of products and materials to customers
  • Properly labels and handles shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped according to the paperwork
  • Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed; repairs pallets when necessary
  • Adheres to all safety policies
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work environment
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • At least 1 year of related warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems; SAP experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail is a must; Performs all tasks using a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety rules
  • Basic Math Skills- Needs to be able to count and calculate figures by adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
  • Able to work overtime including Saturdays
  • Positive work attitude

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay wage: $19/hr-20/hr 
  • Shift: Day Shift (7:30am-4:30pm) M-F
