Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste. Analyze data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance supply chain performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination and communication. Continuously review and improve processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and quality. Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new products and initiatives, considering supply chain implications. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to improve cost-effectiveness. Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on supply chain performance and make recommendations for improvement.
