Reporting to the Associate</p><p>Director/Director of Supply Chain Advising, the SCA Lead position is a working lead role, responsible for providing advice and drafting support for purchasing professionals in compliance with company policies, law, and regulatory requirements.</p><p></p><p>The SCA lead will manage and mentor a team of SCAs supporting specific business units, providing procurement guidance and negotiation assistance across Raytheon domestic and international supplier matters.  The SCA Lead will develop and execute on business unit and organization-wide impacting operational initiatives in coordination with Raytheon’s LCC and Supply Chain Management (SCM) leadership, subject matter experts, and business partners. </p><p></p><p><b>Note </b>that this role is an advisory position, working <i>with </i>Counsel to resolve legally related issues supporting our Procurement and Program teams. It is not a General Counsel or an Attorney position and will not represent Raytheon in any legal capacity.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do: </b></p><ul><li>Provide procurement guidance, negotiation strategy and assistance for the Raytheon Supply Chain Acquisition Professional community for supplier terms and conditions and long-term agreements (LTAs), to ensure business interests are protected and customer and regulatory requirements are met.</li><li>Craft risk analysis and provide drafting and negotiation support for collaborative agreements and software licenses.</li><li>Provide policy interpretation and execution support associated with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements, public law, and other regulatory requirements impacting Raytheon and suppliers.</li><li>Develop strategies for supplier issues consistent with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and business objectives. Partner with LCC colleagues to deliver proactive and consistent support to Raytheon Supply Chain stakeholders to assess supplier risks.</li><li>Lead and manage a team of SCAs supporting specific business unit supplier matters, terms and conditions, LTAs, collaborative agreements, and software license negotiations.  Mentor team members and assist in addressing issues that involve complex variables, using experience, expertise, and SC Counsel and SME involvement to guide path forward. </li><li>Provide SCA team coaching on skills, process improvements, and professional development.</li><li>Report on team performance data to identify trends, understand resource needs, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.</li><li>Establish team goals and strategy to meet the operational needs of the organization. Conduct performance assessment and compensation planning. </li><li>Lead team collaboration with functional SMEs across Raytheon’s LCC, SCM leadership, business partners, and other RTX legal entities, to obtain executive leadership buy-in and to implement and maintain organization-wide impacting operational policies, processes, templates, and tools.</li><li>Ability to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications You Must have:</b></p><ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field (ex.
