The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in the smooth operation of our distribution center. This position includes tasks such as marking, induction, packing, sorting, splitting, and staging merchandise to ensure accurate and timely delivery to stores. Associates are expected to follow safety guidelines, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities: Perform marking duties: locate unmarked orders and correctly place tickets on each unit.Induct merchandise onto tilt tray sorters, verifying quantities and using RF equipment.Pack merchandise into cartons, label, tape, and move to shipping lines.Sort items by size, color, type, and department as required.Split merchandise from inbound cartons to outbound store cartons accurately.Stage and move merchandise using conveyor systems, pallet jacks, and powered equipment as directed.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, adhering to 5S and company safety policies.Cross-train across departments as needed to support operational demands.Complete other duties as assigned.Required Competencies: Independence and self-motivationAttention to detail and accuracyAdaptability to changing tasks and prioritiesTeamwork and collaborationStrong communication skillsCredibility, trustworthiness, and commitment to excellenceAbility to work a Monday - Friday either a 5am or 6am ShiftAbility to work OT on SaturdaysQualifications: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs consistentlyComfortable standing and walking on concrete floors for entire shiftsExperience with RF equipment or willingness to learnAbility to read and follow instructions on electronic screens or printed ticketsTimely and reliable attendancePrior warehouse experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements: Continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and handling objectsAbility to work safely around moving conveyors, sorters, and other equipmentAbility to see and interpret printed and electronic informationComfortable performing repetitive motions in a fast-paced warehouse environmentPay Details: $16.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
