About the position

At Five Below, our Sales Associates are at the heart of our store operations, embodying our core values and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will engage directly with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience while also driving sales results. This role requires a passion for customer service and a commitment to maintaining the store's visual standards. You will be responsible for various tasks, including cash handling, merchandising, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store. Your ability to connect with customers and provide them with the best possible service will be crucial in creating a fun and inviting atmosphere that reflects the Five Below brand. Sales Associates are expected to adhere to all standard operating procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with corporate communications and merchandising directives. You will assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, unload trucks, check in shipments, and stage products for the sales floor. Additionally, you will be involved in executing company data integrity processes and driving store sales through various services offered by Five Below, such as ear piercing and online order pickups. This position is not just about selling; it's about creating a WOW experience for our customers and contributing to a team that values hard work, fun, and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all standard operating procedures and policies
  • Responsible for cash handling procedures
  • Reviews and responsible for all corporate communications applicable to their assigned area
  • Assists in merchandising procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining assigned area
  • Sets and maintains Market Plan and other merchandise directives
  • Assists with execution of company data integrity process
  • Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
  • Interacts with and assists customers
  • Assists in receiving and stocking procedures.
