Position: Remote Pharmacist / Drug Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Remote Pharmacist / Drug Safety Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position that will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of medications used by our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy and drug safety, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Please note: This is a remote position open to candidates currently residing in the United States. Were unable to consider applications from outside the U.S. at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and monitor all medications prescribed to our clients to ensure they are safe and effective

- Conduct regular drug utilization reviews to identify potential issues or interactions

- Collaborate with healthcare providers and athletes to develop individualized medication plans

- Educate clients on proper medication use and potential side effects

- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in drug safety and regulatory requirements

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all medications prescribed and dispensed

- Communicate with pharmacies and insurance companies to resolve any medication-related issues

- Participate in team meetings and provide input on medication-related matters

- Adhere to all HIPAA and other relevant privacy laws and regulations


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

- Active pharmacist license in good standing

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy or drug safety role

- Knowledge of drug safety regulations and best practices

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems
