About the position

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking skilled Spanish Bilingual Interpreters for remote work opportunities. This position allows you to work from home, provided you reside in the United States.

The role involves interpreting high volume inbound calls, translating conversations between Spanish and English across various industries, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, and other government entities. The job offers a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour and is structured as a long-term contract. You will undergo three weeks of paid training to prepare you for the responsibilities of the role. Additionally, video interpreting will be a part of your duties, requiring you to be comfortable on camera during video calls. A typical day in this position involves handling telephone calls on demand from a quiet home office environment. You will be responsible for translating conversations that can range from simple to complex or technical. 

The ideal candidates for this role will be fluent in both Spanish and English and must be able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours of work per week, with Monday shifts being mandatory. While previous experience in interpreting is not required, any education or work experience in teaching or translation will be considered an asset. Candidates should also possess manual dexterity for typing or writing notes as needed during calls. To succeed in this role, you will need to meet certain remote technical requirements, including having a personal iPhone or Android phone, a high-speed internet connection for work-related communication, a dry erase marker board, and a dedicated workspace.
