Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Content Moderator to join our Amazon Seller Services team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and trust of the Amazon Marketplace by reviewing and monitoring content submitted by third-party sellers. Key Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content including product listings, images, descriptions, and seller communications.

  • Investigate potential violations of Amazons policies, community guidelines, or terms of service.

  • Apply policy guidelines with consistency and fairness while using sound judgment to escalate sensitive cases.

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and provide feedback to improve content moderation workflows.

  • Maintain daily and weekly reporting metrics on moderation activity.

  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within the seller ecosystem.

  • Handle and prioritize a high volume of content while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

  • Comfortable navigating online tools, spreadsheets, and content moderation platforms.

  • Ability to remain objective and maintain professionalism in handling sensitive content.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces is a plus.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in content moderation, trust and safety, compliance, or customer service.

  • Previous experience with e-commerce, online communities, or seller services preferred.

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Flexible working hours, with availability to work weekends or evenings if needed.

  • Time zone compatibility with U.S. operations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Sound understanding of content moderation principles, policy enforcement, and risk analysis.
