Job Summary:

Raytheon seeks an experienced Operations/Program Management/Supply Chain professional to lead their South Supplier Performance Management team. Role works closely with Mission Assurance, Engineering, Material Program Management, Acquisition, Operations, and Program Management. This position requires diverse operations, program management, supply chain, and technical background along with the ability to lead across functional and organizational boundaries.

The ideal candidate will draw from extensive operations, program management, and supply chain management skills to lead a cross functional team that manages and oversees the performance of up to six suppliers to improve supplier performance and ensure suppliers meet the business objectives they are contracted to achieve and deliver maximum value to Raytheon. The candidate will communicate with all levels of the organizations; have business acumen to immediately connect contractual, operational, sourcing, and technical concerns that may impact a supplier’s ability to perform; and is able to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities to anticipate:•Leadership to Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, and Engineering professionals, in the area of supplier performance and strategy approaches that assures flawless execution and drives affordability from our supply base.• Improve the overall performance of assigned supplies• Foster and maintain effective collaboration across the Product Lines, specifically within Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, Engineering, Operations, and Program Management and across assigned suppliers to ensure full integration of best practices to accomplish objectives • Assist in evolving supply base alignment with Raytheon’s technology roadmaps

Travel expected at least 25-50% of the time. Supplier currently has facilities in Virginia, Alabama and Arkansas.

Basic Qualifications: • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of Operations/Program Management/Supply Chain or related experience OR an advanced degree and 7 years related experience• Leadership/Management experience, • Proficiency in tools and systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a US Government Security Clearance

Desired Skills: • Demonstrated experience developing suppliers and working with suppliers to improve performance and affordability• Ability to build relationships, able to work and lead in a cross functional environment, able to interface with varying levels of management and work with multi-functions including supply chain, mission assurance, program management, engineering, operations, and supply base• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking throughout the supplier performance and oversight process• Demonstrated experience in constraint management and lean manufacturing principles• Skilled in communications, team building, conflict resolution and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect and trust.• Demonstrated ability to lead and present executive level reviews and briefings• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight• Experience with operations or program management, including program development lifecycle, Statement of Work generation, risk management, action item management, requirement change management• Experience and understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)• Six Sigma process improvement such as Raytheon Technologies CORE and/or historic Raytheon R6s expert • Aware of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR) and ITAR requirements• Security clearance – Secret or Top Secret• Master's degree in Business or other related field

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
