This person will collaborate with the gaming focused creative team on ideating and executing social posts and campaigns that promote and celebrate various games – from indie to AAA.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>***PLEASE NOTE:</em></strong> This is an ongoing <strong>FREELANCE ROLE </strong>with varying hours per project assignment(s).</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Cast a vision for a creative concept; understanding how it fits in the brand’s social ecosystem while producing that asset from concept to completion.</li><li>Use Photoshop, Premiere/After Effects to bring creative and strategic video concepts to life across Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok and more.</li><li>Help create video and static assets for other channels like Instagram Reels, Stories, Twitter and TikTok that range from lo-fi meme to shortform cutdown.</li><li>Stay connected to gaming and all the latest things going on in the industry, designing creative ideas fosters built for likes/shares/ engagement with fans based on what they are excited about now, and what’s coming next with both the brand and games.</li><li>Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also independently focus and own a project on your own.</li><li>Have a strong sense of accountability & ownership and can help creatively drive a project forward with solutions.</li><li>Have the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects amidst strict deadlines and (sometimes) stressful situations with strong communication and transparency.</li><li>Partner with Creative Directors to ensure that all creative is on brand and compelling as possible.</li><li>Ensure content is optimized for all social channels and all devices.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL (IDEALLY) BRING TO THE TABLE:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience creating digital content and social assets for a recognizable brand or channel (1+ at an advertising/marketing/entertainment agency). Must have gaming client experience.</li><li>General understanding of how to write up a concept for a social pitch deck.</li><li>High proficiency in creative industry tools such as After Effects, Photoshop, Premier, etc. and the ability to quickly turn an idea into a video, GIF, motion or static asset</li><li>A sense of humor and knowledge of internet culture that can be brought into your creative in a way that makes sense for the brand</li><li>A sense of intentional design: knowing when to go intentionally lo-fi vs when to go more polished</li><li>An understanding that what creatively works on a brand social channel is more nuanced and different than what works on a fan social channel</li><li>The ability to bring brand style through to exciting concepts and assets</li><li>A passion for building compelling creative for social media</li><li>A passion for gaming</li><li>Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, what works, and how to design for greatest impact</li><li>Exceptional written and communication skills</li><li>Desire to learn, grow, teach and contribute in a fast-paced, creative environment</li><li>Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Proven time management and organizational skills</li><li>Experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>So, if you've read this far and have that butterflies in your stomach feeling, send us your resume, we'd love to hear from you.</p>
