Position Tasks

  1. Perform clinical duties as required and determined by the healthcare provider.

  2. Prepare and stock patient rooms for exams and procedure.

  3. Assist in the review of patient medical records for the following day to insure data is current and absent data is requested.

  4. Assist in the management of telephone triage and patient follow-up.

  5. Assist in the delivery of patient education and documentation in patient record.

  6. Assist in the execution of verbal and written healthcare provider orders.

  7. Telephone and electronic prescribe prescriptions to the pharmacy.

  8. Monitor receipt and delivery of sample and stock medications.

  9. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and re-order as indicated.

  10. Assist in completing referrals such as but not limited to making appointments, obtaining pre- certifications, pre-authorizations and obtaining reports.

  11. Assists in executing patient recall system for abnormal values.

  12. Report all unusual or abnormal conditions to the healthcare provider.

  13. Sterilize and store treatment trays and other supplies.

  14. Assist in the receipt of all incoming reports and insure provider awareness.

  15. Assist the receptionist and administrative staff in management of medical records and Business Office operations as required.

  16. Complies with HIPPA guidelines.

  17. Complies with OSHA regulations.

  18. Conducts lab testing.

  19. Perform other program duties as required.

Qualifications

1. High school graduate.

2. Maintain current CPR certification.

3. Minimum of one-year clinical experience in an office setting preferred, but not required

4. Certification preferred but not required.
