<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>This position offers a base salary range of $76,512 - $127,520 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.</p><p><br></p><p>One of the MANY work perkz at Sheetz is quarterly employee bonuses based on company performance! While you'll work from home, expect to spend about three days a week visiting CLI terminals and SDS facilities across Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>Your responsibilities will include on-site audits, training, safety evaluations, and professional development to support field operations. All mileage and travel expenses are fully reimbursed.</p><p><br></p><p>Candidates must live in or near Findlay, Ohio, to effectively support these locations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>OVERVIEW</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Assist the Director of Safety in fostering a positive culture while managing the comprehensive motor carrier safety and security program in accordance with company policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to the safe transportation of petroleum and food products and the service utility fleet (CMV).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)</strong></p><p><br></p><ol><li>Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the department.</li><li>Monitor annual budgets for assigned area of responsibility to maximize profitability.</li><li>Assist in managing the comprehensive safety and security program for CLI Transport (CLI), Sheetz Distribution Center drivers (DC), Sheetz Bros. Kitchen drivers (SBK) and Sheetz Motor Carrier drivers (SMC).</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations</li><li>Conduct various safety inspections and compliance audits to ensure safety policies and practices are followed.</li><li>Assist in the hiring process and manage the on boarding of new commercial motor vehicle drivers into company procedures, regulations, and safe driving.</li><li>Manage company vehicle accident files, liability and subrogation claims and maintains accident registers and statistics.</li><li>Assist in the documentation, investigation and reporting of vehicle crashes, driving complaints, product handling incidents.</li><li>Prepare and present specific safety training materials for driver safety meetings.
