Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our hybrid team in Miami. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling payments and invoices. A strong knowledge of QuickBooks and the ability to organize and digitize historical records are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping and general accounting tasks using QuickBooks
  • Input, categorize, and reconcile transactions
  • Transfer and digitize physical receipts, invoices, and records into QuickBooks
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
  • Experience in organizing and inputting physical records into digital systems
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent English


Bonus Points

  • Experience working in a real estate firm or with real estate transactions
  • Experience with property management accounting
  • Familiarity with project-level accounting and cost tracking
  • Property Management experience Yardi and/or AppFolio
