Position Summary

Support the strategic account manager in growing sales for various categories for Marketplace to achieve annual financial plans while managing seller relationships to deliver quality content, drive seller adoption into new program, and elevating their assortment in key eCommerce events. Collaborate with cross functional partners across Digital Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Technology. Demonstrate strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills, provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, assist in resolving conflict, initiate resolution, and deliver results. Essential Job Functions * Assist in managing third-party sellers, manage current seller accounts and ensure marketplace revenue and GMV goals

  • Oversee and manage seller annual financial targets that exceeds expectations and working with Digital Merchandising to develop robust assortment to fill our digital aisle
  • Support the seller relationship with marketplace communication, navigating processes and finding solutions while understanding the sellers' goals, decision-making process, and success metrics
  • Escalate issues and risks to the business development manager, where necessary
  • Collaborate across departments to drive a cohesive strategy to complement each brand through pricing, promotions, merchandising, etc.; adhere to merchandising and promotional strategies
  • Aid in nurturing strategic relationships with our seller partners. Monitor account evolution to ensure sellers are growing and profitable
  • Partner with Seller Support Management team and ensure vendor and product set up steps are completed from item set up through go live
  • Utilize competitor data, customer analytics, eCommerce forecasting tools, reporting and financial analysis suggest opportunities for sales and margin growth; develop a point of view for continuous improvements

Minimum Position Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, retail merchandising, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in one of the following areas: eCommerce, sourcing, procurement, or merchandising
  • Any experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
  • Demonstrated understanding of, supply chain, project management, sales, and customer service channels
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel
Desired Previous Experience/Education * 2+ years in an e-business sector and previous eCommerce/marketplace experience
  • Any experience supporting third party sellers
