Join the Amazon team at the sortation center and help fulfill customer orders by accurately and efficiently sorting, scanning, and stacking packages. As a part-time employee, you have the benefit of flexible shifts to fit your schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and categorize merchandise to ensure proper inventory control
- The preparation of customer orders for shipping is a necessary step in ensuring customer satisfaction
- Implement the utilization of tech tools like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
- The maximum weight that can be lifted is 49 pounds
- Performing tasks such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching are a regular part of an employee's shift
- To avoid potential accidents and injuries, ensure that all transportation equipment is in good working condition and has been inspected regularly
- Proper technique is essential when going up and down a set of stairs
- Undertake assignments at a maximum height of 40 feet on a mezzanine (if necessary)
