About the position

Ciao Imports, a busy specialty food importer located in Miami, FL, is seeking a self-motivated and organized office assistant to join our expanding business. We provide full training and support to our employees, as we value them as much as our clients. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow within a small, casual office environment. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of our business. The office assistant will be responsible for data entry, which includes receiving orders, creating invoices, and printing shipping labels. Additionally, the role requires managing various EDI platforms and Quickbooks, answering phones, and performing general office duties such as light filing, preparing reports, entering customer payments, providing customer service, answering emails, and preparing deposits. The assistant will also perform other administrative duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. This part-time position offers competitive pay and the opportunity for growth within the company. The working hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities

  • Data Entry, including receiving orders, creating invoices and printing shipping labels, reviewing inventory, creating purchase orders
  • Managing various EDI platforms and Quickbooks
  • Answering phones
  • General office duties, including light filing, reports, entering customer payments, customer service, answering emails, prepare deposits
  • Performing other admin duties as assigned.

Requirements
