Job Description:

Job Summary

The Graphic Design Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Creative Services team within The UPS Store’s Marketing Department. This position is responsible for designing, editing, and publishing marketing assets to the Marketing Help Center (MHC) — a franchisee-facing platform that houses hundreds of print and digital promotional tools. These assets enable franchisees to market The UPS Store’s services locally and effectively help drive revenue.

This role also supports the fulfillment of Custom Creative Requests submitted by franchisees via the MHC. In 2024 alone, the team created 503 new assets and responded to 2,708 Custom Creative Requests, demonstrating the high demand and impact of this work. With over 5,400 franchise locations nationwide, every center relies on timely and brand-compliant creative assets to support their marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, update, and publish a variety of print and digital assets to the Marketing Help Center, ensuring all creative meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Review and complete Custom Creative Requests submitted by franchisees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support through the Creative Services email inbox, ensuring high levels of customer service and clarity in communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across The UPS Store Solution + Support campus to fulfill internal design requests and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Maintain organized files and track projects to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of creative processes and franchisee-facing materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a graphic design or creative support role, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand standards.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and/or clients in a support capacity is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems or content management platforms.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital formats.
  • Understanding of franchise or retail marketing is a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
  • Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience
