About the Role
We're looking for a People Operations (HR) Coordinator to support the Director of People & Culture in organizing, executing, and documenting key HR processes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HR data management.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating complexity in a multi-location environment. You'll help bring structure to our people operations and support the foundation of Fit Fusion's growing HR function.

What You'll Do
  • Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes (part-time to full-time, title, pay, and transfer updates).
  • Prepare and route employment agreements, acknowledgments, and related documents through Adobe Sign and UKG.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all required documentation is filed and accessible.
  • Track onboarding and compliance items, including I-9s and state-specific notices.
  • Audit and update employee data in UKG; support reporting and clean-up projects.
  • Help document standard operating procedures for recurring HR tasks.
  • Assist with employment verification requests and unemployment claims.
  • Support occasional benefits administration tasks such as processing employee level updates or adjustments.
  • Track policy rollouts, handbook acknowledgments, and compliance postings.
  • Provide administrative support for department initiatives and special projects.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of two (2) years of HR experience in a multi-location organization (required).
  • Experience with UKG Ready or other UKG platforms (strongly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of multi-state labor and employment laws (required)
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets and digital workflow tools.
  • Thrives in an environment where processes are being built and refined.
