<p> Torch Cay: Senior Logistics Manager<br /> Torch Cay, LLC is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead international sourcing, shipping coordination, and material flow for multiple high-end construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless delivery and availability of materials by working hand-in-hand with project managers, site leads, and vendors. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Supply chain logistics, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance-especially in an international and island-based development context.<br /> This position is based in Miami, FL. As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days/week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.<br /> <br /> Key Responsibilities:<br /> Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management<br /> • Lead procurement efforts across multiple projects, sourcing high-quality materials and negotiating favorable terms with global and regional suppliers.<br /> • Develop and manage end-to-end shipping logistics from US and international suppliers to project sites in the Bahamas.<br /> • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and timely customs clearance.<br /> • Work closely with project managers to align purchasing timelines with construction schedules, proactively resolving any delivery risks or conflicts.<br /> • Maintain and track procurement pipelines, lead times, and delivery schedules across all active projects.<br /> • Monitor inventory levels and oversee warehousing, staging, and on-site delivery operations, ensuring all goods meet quality and specification standards.<br /> • Manage vendor relationships and performance; ensure accountability through service-level agreements and consistent communication.<br /> • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation, ensuring alignment with budget and contract terms.<br /> Project Integration & Construction Logistics<br /> • Serve as a key liaison between procurement/logistics and construction project managers to maintain accurate project timelines and material coordination.<br /> • Supervise logistical and material documentation-including permits, manifests, and compliance forms-are in order for inspections and site approvals.<br /> • Support on-site teams by ensuring just-in-time delivery of materials and responding quickly to field-level procurement changes or shortages.<br /> <br /> Qualifications & Skills<br /> • Extensive knowledge of Bahamian import regulations, international logistics, and freight forwarding.<br /> • Proven track record in construction procurement and logistics, with the ability to manage complex supply chains across multiple projects and geographies.<br /> • Strong understanding of shipping terms, incoterms, and customs documentation.<br /> • Proficiency in procurement and logistics systems (e.g., Procore, Bl/uebeam, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).<br /> • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination skills.<br /> • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to prioritize and execute in a deadline-driven environment.<br /> <br /> Education & Experience Requirements<br /> • Minimum 7+ years' experience in procurement and logistics, ideally within construction or remote/island-based development projects.<br /> • Experiece managing logistics for high-end/remote development projects, including marine and air freight.<br /> • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.<br /> At PMC, we believe working in a highly collaborative, office-first environment fosters real-time communication, spontaneous idea sharing, and stronger interpersonal relationships that drive innovation and team cohesion.
